Photography tips

How this image was taken

This shot in clear daylight uses an aperture of f/9 to ensure consistent sharpness from the nearby municipalities to the distant Mount Pilatus. The fast shutter speed of 1/1250 s freezes the scene at the chosen focal length of 22 mm.

  • Use an aperture between f/8 and f/11 to capture the details of the landscape with even sharpness.
  • Select a fast shutter speed to reliably avoid motion blur when shooting with a wide-angle lens.
  • Use an ISO setting around 400 in bright daylight to maintain image quality and achieve precise exposure.
